I asked my mother where she would like to go for her 83rd birthday and she said anywhere the meal is free. Is there such a place? Thanks.

  1. The only one I can think of since Denny's stopped doing free birthday meals some years ago is Todai. It's a Japanese buffet with the emphasis on sushi. When they had a location in Scottsdale they did a free meal, the Vegas one might be different, call ahead to check.

    1. Most places nowadays comp desserts rather than meals :\ ... I s'pose if it's her birthday the meal would be free for her (and she doesn't necessarily have to know that.) If you're gutsy enough over the phone, call a few good places & check.

      1. It's been a while since I went to Todai but if I remember correctly if you dine there ON your birthday you get a coupon for a free meal on a return trip.

In other news The Keg (chain steak place) offers a free steak and lobster meal during your birthday month. Not sure if there's a Vegas location but that would be a great option.

        1. I was just there celebrating a 60th birthday, and only Wolfgang Puck's offered a free dessert. We weren't looking for handouts, we ordered dessert anyway, but I always think it's nice when they offer something. I remember Emeril's went out of their way when I dined there in Orlando for my birthday. Appetizer and dessert. Very nice.
