Bakeries in Mississauga

I am looking for a great bakery in Mississauga.

I would especially love a nice white cake with lemon filling...but, a good bakery that makes great cakes will do just fine.

Addresses, websites and phone numbers, as well as what the bakery does well would be appreciated.

You can also try La Sem on 1275 Eglinton E south of Dixie. http://www.lasem.ca/ It's an Italian bakery, I think. I used to buy all my special occassion cakes there when I lived in the city. Really great white cake with real fruit layers. Yummy.

A lot of Chinese bakeries have nice spongy white cakes - there's one in the Creditview/Deer Run strip mall called Akko and there's Prime on the other side of Burnamthorpe and Creditview in the Chinese Plaza.

    Good luck!

You might also try San Remo Bakery on Royal York S near the Queensway.

Ok, CK, try frozen goods from Sweet Gallery vs fresh from Dimp's. Butter cream made with butter vs something from an oil well, as is the case in some of the Bloor W places. You have to ask.

It's in Oakville and not Mississauga but how about Patisserie D'or (905-815-8999) at 301 Robinson Street, Oakville? It's near Trafalgar and Lakeshore. The cakes are works of art, with chocolate ribbons and curls - many with fresh berries or lemon fillings. Lots of individual pastries and chocolates too.

Really, any sort of cakes. As I said in the original post, I am looking specifically for a vanilla cake with lemon filling, but love all kinds of cakes.

Looking for a good bakery which makes good solid delicious cakes.

Cake is a cake...don't know how to be more specific.

This is too vague. What type of cakes are you after?
