Hello all: What are the lunch options in the Herald Square vicinity (other than Korean, which is all I've been having here for days). Surely there's something better than a PAX salad round these parts?

SOS.

P.S. I know about Dimple. It's fabulous. Is there anywhere else to consider?

Also, right across the street, on 35th St, next to ChoDangGol and HanBat is a Korean-style Chinese restaurant. (Sorry, I always forget the name, but it's right there.) I especially recommend the champong (hot, spicy seafood noodle soup) and the jajangmyun (noodles in brown sauce), but they offer good versions of regular Chinese food staples at good lunch deal prices.

They also own Salumeria Biellese, around the corner on 8th, known for their excellent homemade sausages which are served in the restaurant. I believe they sell sandwiches. Not sure if it's eat-in or exclusively take-out.

      Seven, on 7th Av., b/t 29th & 30th Sts. New American cuisine.
