Cavoeiro, Algarve
We spend 2 weeks a year in Cavoeiro and we find ourselves going to same restaurants every time we are there (our favorite is O Salmao..excellent cuisine prepared by Parisian trained Chefs at moderate prices).
Can you suggest other restaurants in the area that have great food/atmosphere at reasonable prices? Thank you in advance.

For atmosphere and the cheapest fixed price meal you'll ever find, go to a hidden place in Carvoeira called Escondidinho. (I think it means "hidden place".) For about 7 euros you'll crowd into long tables with workmen and expats, and get several simple courses with coffee, wine and brandy. No, it's not gourmet but it's fun! Be there at 12:30 as it fills up.
