Serendipity's lines

Quick question re: Serendipity and the wait. I'm planning to take a group of about 10 people there on a Friday night around 10:00 or 10:30 pm. How much of a wait can we expect? Would it be feasible to put our name on the waiting list halfway through dinner and cut down the wait that way?

  1. I've never been at that time of day, but I always put my name in, go somewhere else for an hour, then check back. That usually works.

exactly what I have done--we put our name on the list, go to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner and by the time we finish, we are near the top of the list. Good luck. The best item to order is the frozen hot chocolate. I always want to try something else but then regret it afterwards.

    2. I believe Serendipity takes reservations. I have made them at lunchtime.

      1. they do take a limited amount of reservations for lunch and dinner only, not for desserts.

        1. I would imagine that is prime serendipity time. Def. put your name on the list earlier if you can.
