Soft Serve Ice Cream

Ok fellow Chowhounds. This seem like a simple request. I am looking for soft serve places in SFV and maybe even in Simi Valley. I happened to run across PENGUINS at Reseda and Devonshire in Northridge today but other than that I cant think of any places. In Simi we often got to Costco which is ok but they are not open late and they have no variety.

One other option if you want to keep on the yogurt thing is to go to Golden Spoon on First and L.A.
Good mix of flavors that they change week to week.

Simi...I haven't been in a lil while but there used to be two Dairy Queen's in Simi Valley. One on Madera next to 24 Hr Fitness and the one I used to go to on Tapo Cyn/Cochran next to Jon's Market. The location on Tapo used to be open until 10PM I think in the summer.

Have you tried Tutu's Ice Cream near Ken of Japan?
Oh...one more suggestion. El Pollo Loco on Tapo Cyn has a Foster's Freeze as well.

You know how you have a fond memory of something and then you have it again and are disappointed? I remember Carvel from my childhood and have recently started going to the new one in Granada Hills (SF Mission and Woodley). I was not disappointed! We used to go to Frosty Queen on Chatsworth Street but think Carvel is better - very creamy. They will still roll the ice cream in sprinkles if you have memories of that. There are some mixes in the case, but we haven't ventured from the soft serve yet.

Several more are listed as opening soon. Unfortunately none near Studio City for me...

There's also a Foster's Freeze in the El Pollo Loco on Riverside near Fulton in Sherman Oaks.

Yogurt (since you mentioned Penguins) - Humphrey Yogart in the Gelson's Shopping Center on Van Nuys Blvd a couple of blocks north of Ventura Blvd. And also a Yogurt place on the southeast corner of Ventura and Laurel Canyon.
