Sushi in Detroit Western Suburbs

Need advice for really excellent sushi in Farmington Hills, Northville areas(can include Livonia and Novi). Moving to Farmington Hills soon and need to know where to get my sushi fix. Thanks in advance.

You should also try Sushi Ko. Good, fresh and reasonably priced. On 12 mile just east of Orchard Lake (in a little strip mall on the south side of the road). No decor and service can be a little slow, but the food is consistently good.

Plenty of good places in this area thanks to the influx of Japanese automotive operations into Detroit and specifically into the western suburbs. Big, high-volume place with good sushi and also more unusual Japanese food--there's a type of cuisine with organ meats grilled on skewers, can't remember the name, but they have it: Cherry Blossom on Novi Rd. north of I-96, near Twelve Oaks Mall. Fancy restaurant in big old house with excellent sushi and some European desserts and things: Shiro on Nine Mile Rd. Hole-in-the-wall lunch place with great rolls, cheap: Happy Sushi on 10 Mile. Ann Arbor is also loaded with sushi places. Farther east is a tiny Japanese grocery with sushi bar: Noble Fish in Clawson. Happy hunting (or fishing)!
