Albuquerque tomorrow

My wife and I will be traveling to Albuquerque tomorrow for a conference the next few days. Would appreciate any suggestions from locals or others for b'fast, brunch, or dinner. We are staying at the Marriott on Louisiana Blvd and will not have a car. Casual or a bit dressier fine; wine list not important.

Le Peep is almost right next door to your hotel. It's a chain, but they have very good breakfast.

There is (or was?) a Garduno's attached to Winrock Mall across the street from the Marriott, but I've heard the mall has been vacated, and I'm not sure if Garduno's remained or not. If it is still there, it's a fun spot for pretty good Mexican food.

You might have to consider some sort of transportation for more options...it's kind of a chain-restaurant no-man's land right around the Marriott.

      J & V,

I have friends here for the same conference and there are some nearby options! There's a Satellite Coffee about 1 or 2 blocks north of you next to a Pei Wei (PF Chang's chain, but not bad). Satellite is a great little coffee spot for breakfast or dessert. Limited menu, but good stuff.

Also,Japanese Kitchen is nearby for good sushi and Japanese teppan. It's tucked away in the same center as Le Peep, but ask for directions at the hotel... it's hard to see.

Have fun.... maybe rent a car for a day and see the sights??

Best New Mexican breakfast is Perea's.
