Has anyone ever seen Bell's Amber beer for sale anywhere out here? I've tried Galco's and too many bars-with-enormous-beer-lists to mention, so does anybody have anything positive to report about ever seeing this available out here?

Haven't seen it out here. According to their website, they only distribute to 5 or 6 midwestern states and nothing reaches the West Coast.

I had some Bell's Oberon recently but that was brought over by a friend in a suitcase.

If you find some, definitely let me know.

Maybe we can flood Larry Bell's inbox with emails begging him to distribute his beer out here. I don't know how that would work logistically, since it's a small operation. But their beers are unbeatable, albeit somewhat expensive.

I recall their Porter and the Third Coast Old Ale (Barley-style wine, similar to Sierra's Bigfoot) with particular fondness.

Yes, I even drove to Kalamazoo one time to visit their brewery(from Chicago.) Nothing else could get me to go back to Kalamazoo.
I will definitely write Larry Bell, though I really wish a bar would just step up and buy several cases (though I guess they have their hands tied by distributors?)
