Aji peppers

It seems unlikely, but does anyone know if it is possible to find fresh Aji peppers anywhere in town? If not, is there a market that regularly stocks the canned or pickled ones? I've been mail ordering them, but I'd prefer being able to go somewhere and pick them up.

Possibly it is just the word for chiles, but I always think of them as the slightly fat, medium length bright yellow peppers that are used a lot in Peruvian cooking. I've never seen them fresh here. But I might try Catalina for the heck of it. Thanks.

Are they different than normal chiles? I just thought aji was the word used in South AMerica for peppers - from quechua.
Try catalina market on western or a Vallarta supermarket if you know what they look like - there's one on Victory at Woodley.
