How about an Airports board?
How about an Airports board? Questions regarding what / where to eat at airports typically don't get great response on area boards as people don't spend much time at their local terminals. It's frequent travelers who are most likely to know the score.

I'd concur with that. It's surprising what you can find at airports. At Twin Cites airport I had my first fried cheese curd (yeccch, but at least I can check it off my list) and at Pudong Airport in Shanghai I found surprisingly good xiaolong bao; expensive by Shanghai standards, and with the wrong vinegar, (but still less that half of Din Tai Fung's price anywhere in the world).

agreed.. an airport board would be nice.. particularly since that seems to be a trend for airports to start out-sourcing their amenities and people have to get to the airport earlier and earlier these days. I've had two different restaurant clients make bids for restaurant space at SFO and Oakland in the last year.
I had a rather tasty smoothie made with actual "real" fruit while passing through philadelphia last year, it made me feel almost human for the last two flights back to the bay area. I'd love to get tips on where to get something like that again before a trip, rather than settling for some $8 doughy bagel with cheap cream cheese or fast food that was going to sit in my belly like lead.

Good idea. You can usually get a list of the food outlets on the airport webpage. Since most are chains, it's fairly easy to ferret out the good ones. That's how I found Whitt's BBQ in Nashville and then was able to confirm with my seatmate who was a Nashville cat.
