Does anyone receive Rachael Ray's magazine?

Is it worth getting a subscription or not? I am specifically looking for feedback regarding her magazine only.

  1. I've been getting the mag since issue 1 and got a subscription for Christmas. I really enjoy the mag. I like cooking, but need to follow recipes that are fairly easy. This mag does that for me. There's also always interesting articles about different foods as well as places to go in different cities. I think it's worth it to pick up a copy in your local grocery store or bookstore prior to subscribing to make sure it's right for you.

      Thank you. That was the response I was looking for, I am not interested in the opinions people have of her or her shows.

    2. I could read her magazine I guess...that way I wouldn't have to listen to her.

      2. It seems people can't resist, I guess. I've picked up two issues, simply because I'm addicted to food magazines. I thought the first issue had some good info, but the second was a little disappointing. (I don't think they were necessarily the 1st and 2nd issue of publication.) I would definitely try to pick up an issue before you subscribe. FYI... all of the recipes can be found on Food Network or in her cookbooks, at least from what I noticed, so it might be nothing new to you.

        1. I bought the first three then finally decided to subscribe. I have made a recipe or two from each. They are real food, and not particularly 30-minute meals. I have no use for the pet recipe each month, but the 7-day meal planner, features and celebrity fridge/day of meals features are fun. And I like the quirky design.

          1. I've been subscribing since the beginning (I'm a sucker for cooking mags, I think I subscribe to at least 6 or 7) and I have to say, I really like it. I'm tired of cooking mags that are filled with recipes for stuff I'll never make because I don't have the time or money to find all the exotic ingredients they call for. And I've never been disappointed by one of RR's recipes.
