"Hidden Kitchens" in Baltimore?

I'm reading the NPR book, Hidden Kitchens by Nikki Silva and Davia Nelson, which is really good. I highly recommend it to you, and the series of the same name on NPR's web site (you can listen to broadcasts of the show there). I especially love the story on San Antinio's Chili Queens. I got me thinking about hidden kitchens in Baltimore, so I'll list a couple that I can think of off the top of my head.

Does anyone know of any more or have anything to add about the ones I've listed?

1. St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church (the pierogi ladies). Here's a link to a citypaper story that mentions them:

  1. Oyster Stew and fried oysters sold at St. Francis on Harford Road several times during Lent. It's pick-up to go only. The best oyster stew I've ever had. Check the church sign in season.

      I should have called them padded oysters, as you fry them when you get them home. I think they must add the liquor from the padded oysters to the stew, one reason the broth is so memorable. It's also nicely spiced, paprika, cayenne, with who knows what else.
      Come on, there must be some great tips out there on places that aren't traditional restaurants or stores.
