Pho Bac Hoa Sacramento

Stopped in after the my workout at the gym. I needed nourishment and was shakey hungry.

Ordered the beef rice noodle soup. The bowl was huge and the broth devine. I even managed to eat the noodles with chopsticks! The beef was kinda tough though. The server suggested that next time I order the clear broth noodle bowl. I will indeed.

I loved the presentation...the pretty plate of bean sprouts with basil leaves. The server advised me on how to use the condiments for this particular soup...for which I was very greatful.

I thought the piped in Don Henley music was an interesting choice.

I'll go back.

Which location?

I really like Pho Bac Hoa Viet, too. I hit their Broadway location in Sacramento, and their Stockton branch, too. The service is good and friendly on Broadway, but somewhat spotty in Stockton. Still friendly, but very inattentive.

I have no idea if their pho is 'authentic' pho, but I like it and that's good enough for me!

Madison location. I fogot the Viet at the end. Damn..I am just not good with names. I must carry a pad and pencil around at all times! I can't wait till I hit that gym next Thurs. so I can eat there again! I usually go to the downtown gym. I actually wanted to steal a menu so I could decide in advance! I live much closer to the Broadway location..we'll hit that this weekend for sure.

They also have a location on Madison. The chicken pho (with the tripe, tendon and everything)is divine.

i dont know much about their broadway location, but i personally dont like their bradshaw location at all, bad service.
