Any Good Healthy Food Delivery Services?
I need to lose about 10 pounds but I am so busy right now. I have read about a couple of food delivery options.
Do you have any recommendations?
I haven't been on the CH boards for a while. The new look is impressive.

I've tried Fresh and Zone. Fresh is a little more expensive and it is better. Zone offers far more options in terms of not getting certain foods (since there are many things I dislike, I wind up wasting more meals w/Fresh, which both defeats the purpose and is a waste of $ -- though my dogs like it :) )

Another food delivery service is Sunfare ( www.sunfare.com ). They have several different diet options, but I believe their prices are closer to the $50 per day. It is three meals a day and two snacks. One advantage is that they will carefully go through your food preferences (e.g., whether you particularly like X and hate Y) and will tailor the meals to them.

The Zone Diet Delivery - they deliver three meals a day to your door. I believe it's about +$35 pre day.

What neighborhood do you live in? That will really color the offerings of delivery restaurants.
In my 'hood (Silver Lake), there aren't that many, but a couple of places can be relied upon to offer up healthier than most delivery places (Suriyo Thai, Michaelangelo).
(As an aside, I just rewatched War of the Worlds (the remake with Tom Cruise), and there's a scene where his daughter has ordered food from the local "health food place." He takes a bite of hummos, and makes a face, asking "what's this? why didn't you order pizza?" It made me laugh.)
And for the record, most places that do middle eastern in my area don't deliver, but will do take-out. Another good option.

I can't vouch for these guys, but The Farmer's Cart is a "fresh organic produce home delivery service" that'll send you a box of seasonal produce for $39 a month. They have a website: http://thefarmerscart.org. Seems like a good idea if you don't mind the expense and you're not a picky eater -- you don't get to choose what kinds of fruits and vegetables they send you.
