We are going to Woodstock, VT next weekend to celebrate our anniversary, and we are looking for a great dinner suggestion. Any ideas? Older postings suggest Simon Pearce, The Jackson House Inn and the Prince and the Pauper. Are these recommendations still valid?

I can't speak for the Prince and the Pauper but on our last trip there, about 4 weeks ago,we ate at the Jackson House and Simon Pearce and they were still both excellent.
We also ate at the Corners Inn in Bridgewater, which was excellent also and Bentley's in downtown Woodstock which was a great pub atmosphere with good food.

Simon Pearce is the best choice for dinner. We also enjoyed eating in the pub room at the Kedron Valley Inn. But you shouldn't miss a stop at the Woodstock Farmers Market. Great coffee and baked goods, delicious sandwiches. http://www.woodstockfarmersmarket.com/
