I've heard great things about this restaurant in Egremont and will be vacationing in the area next week. Is it worth a visit?

  1. This is the best restaurant in the Berkshires!!!!!
Someone named "nicole" here got us to try this place two years ago and now we NEVER miss an opportunity to eat here.
The place doesn't look like much from the outside and it's a bit out-of-town but the food is beyond belief.I've sent three other partners of mine here and the yall thanked me over and over for sending them to John Andrews.
You'd better make a reservation if you are going on Friday or Saturday night as they are usually booked well in advance for later diners.
The last time there the gals both ordered a veal dish on brown rice, laced with saffron and a special sauce that I can't describe it was so good.
All I know is the next night we ate there again and we guys had whatever this was.
We're up there in two weeks and I already have reservation here!
Let me know what you think once you've tried this place!

    1. Two more enthusiastic thumbs up here! It's just a great place. For a full meal, for apps and drinks at the bar - definitely go if you can.

      1. GO THERE! it is my absolute favorite restaurant in the berkshires. the food is so wonderful. it is a bit "out of the way" but so well worth it. the atmosphere is very cozy and the service is good- ask for eve, i had her last time and she was such a pro, smooth as silk and you could tell shes been doing it forever.

the pasta dishes are to die for, and you can get a 1/2 portion as an app which i love. the salad with fresh mozz. is fabulous. i have never had mozz. like that before except for one place in SF. the duck is out of this world, even the choices of bread is great.

cannot say enough good things. love the place and always cant wait to go back.
