Best Tiramisu

My sister is visiting this weekend and I've promised that I'll lead her to the best tiramisu in NYC (Manhattan and Outer Boroughs). Currently, she likes the Olive Garden version as her "standard." I'm assuming that the big city should have a better version. Where are the best?

    1. I've always liked the Tiramisu' at Col Legno, 9th St. just west of 2nd Av. Good balance of flavors. Their savory Tuscan food is also dependably good.

I had the tiramisu at Col Legno recently, since reading your rave. It was OK. I'm not a connoissure of tiramisu, but Celeste on the Upper West Side still makes the best one I've had to date.

          • the best i have ever had is at da ciro on lex. and 33/34th. its killer

              1. Caputo Homemade Specialties in Carroll Gardens makes a delicious, not-too-sweet version that displays the same quality as everything else they carry.
