Looking for good chow in Gilroy/Morgan Hill

My family and I will be traveling from Los Angeles to Morgan Hill (south of San Jose) for the Garlic Festival in Gilroy. We've never driven up north so we'd like to know what are some places to eat possibly non restaurant chain. Privately own or places that you won't find anywhere else. We're into American, Italian, and Japanese cuisine. Money is no object. Thanks in advance.

some pilot friends have said there's a good place at the Morgan Hill airport. Worth a fly-in for. Anybody know about it? It would certainly be off the beaten path, so may not be too crowded. (I love eating at airport cafes! the 2-99er Diner at Petaluma is a great one. Also, The Spirit in SLO)

Since the Garlic Festival is going on this weekend, you may want to consider Morgan Hill:
For Italian/California bistro style food: Ragoots on Monterey Road, Morgan Hill. Just opened. Sidewalk Cafe seating as well as indoors. Excellent, casual, affordable and very fun. Try the grilled vegetable stack. Good wine list.
Also, Sicilia en La Bocca is very good--authentic Italian, on Main Street, $15 or so for an entree--lovely service and family owned and operated.
The Trail Dust barbeque moved about 18 months ago to downtown Morgan Hill. They are open for lunch as well as dinner and offer delicious chicken, pork, or tri-tip barbeque sandwiches on garlic toast (only during lunch).
