There needs to be a Brooklyn and Queens Forum/Topic

Manhattan gets its own, but Brooklyn and Queens is lumped in "Outer Boroughs"?? Both have their own great share of restaurants... please give them their own borough category!

This topic has been previously whipped into submission. Even if you never chow venture in far away lands like Brooklyn or Staten Island, people still want to read about it in one place.

I'm in Brooklyn, and I'm totally pleased that Queens and the Bronx and SI, even tho I'm rarely there, are grouped together. That way we can compare them without causing a fuss. Mostly I don't want to have to keep tabs so many boards...

and I agree that this topic has been done to death at various times - you could refer to those discussions to get some of the many opinions already expressed.

I don't have a problem with the present structure at all. If anything, Chowhound needs fewer boards, not more. But I agree with Jen that it would be extremely helpful if posters could identify the location and neighborhood of their posts and in the title of their threads. That way one can just scroll past the threads that are not of interest, or one can make the search feature work for them, rather than having to click through a bunch of extra boards.
