Restaurants in Manchester, NH

Since Baldwin's is closed, can anyone recommend a good restaurant in Manchester, NH? Any info about a Vietnamese restaurant on Elm Street????

  1. Upscale: Richard's Bistro serves contemporary American. Cotton is also very good. Piccola Italia is another option.

There are two Vietnamese restaurants: Little Saigon is on Elm St, and Pho Golden Bowl is on Queen City Blvd.

    1. I've had lunch at Little Saigon on Elm St several times and enjoyed it very much. I'm still have a lot to learn about the menu and Vietnamese cooking. It's a small place, nothing fancy. A few doors down there's a little Hungarian place, mostly bakery but with a limited lunch menu, where I tend to choose something for dessert.

      1. I forgot to mention that Manchester has a Nepalese restaurant! It's called Cafe Momo and it's absolutely charming. The food is a cross between Chinese and Indian--sort of curry prepared in a wok... It's on Hanover Street.

They have beer, and a cocktail that involves sake and lime juice--you may want to check about bringing wine or spirits. It's a pretty relaxed place, and the owner is a sweetheart.
