Chelsea drinks/snacks

  • 2

Where can 2 of us go after work for drinks and good snacks/lite bite? Sitting at a bar would be fine -- is REd Cat a good choice? Can we go to Tia Pol if we're more drinking than eating?

Thanks.

  1. You can hit the Half King, which is more of a bar than a restaurant. But if you only want drinks (read: beer), you might want to walk just a wee bit further to the Chelsea Brewing Co at Chelsea Piers. Kick-ass view, breeze from the water and watch the sun go down over the Hudson. However, don't expect much from the food.

    1. Red Cat is great if you go early enough. Later, the bar fills up with diners. Cookshop is also a good idea, lots of light bites, and usually free bar space. Tia Pol would be perfect, but unless you go super early or late there will be a long wait for seats, even at the bar.
