Happy hour burgers at Morton's Steakhouse

I recently found out about the happy hour deal at Morton's, which might be one of the best food deals in town. Even though you're not spared from the overpriced drinks in a slightly stuffy atmosphere, the plate of 3 mini slider burgers for $4 (here in NYC) is a fantastic deal for what amounts to a good sized burger. There are other "bar bites" (as they call it) available, like the filet mignon sandwich (4 sandwiches of little slices of steak on what looked like small potato rolls), crab, spinach, and artichoke dip (I also like this a lot), and oysters for $1.50 and giant shrimp with cocktail sauce at $2.50 per.

The happy hour is from 5:00 to 6:30, but they also offer the same deal after 9:30pm to 11pm (I think). If you're not drinking a lot, it's a terrific deal.

  1. Thanks for the heads up. They have a similar deal at McCormicks and Schmidts. Great $3 burger, $2 clams, etc, etc. Really worth taking advantage of.

    1. Be careful, because not all branches of either restaurant offers the same happy hours. Call first to make sure. I know for a fact that Morton's in SF has no happy hour, for example.
