Fresh seafood around Yonge & Eglinton?

mtampoya Jul 24, 2006 05:19 PM

Does anyone know where I can get some fresh seafood (store) around Yonge & Eglinton? The only place that carries okay stuff is at the Dominion...or Loblaws by Hogs Hollow. When is the best time to go?

A bit south on Yonge, at Summerhill, is Pisces. Great super-fresh fish.

Is Pisces a store or restaurant? I have been to the fish market across the street from the huge LCBO at Summerhill - is that the one?

Yeppers. Pisces is the fish market across from the LCBO. The butcher, the baker, and the vegetable market around the corner on Yonge are excellent as well. All that and wine pairing advice within walking distance. Heavenly.
