Best Uni(Sea Urchin) Dish in the City?

Without a doubt aki west 4th has some of the best, uni coco- comes to mind but anything off of their special menu should do you right. Also, had a great california style sea urchin sashimi at Naka Naka.

i think jewel bako makimono's salmon in papillote with uni is probably the best cooked uni dish i've ever had. great combination of rich oceanic flavors.

that said, it's hard to beat just good ol raw uni. on friday, masato-san prepared an uni tasting for our party featuring both red and white uni from japan. ahh, creamy, sweet and tidal. interesting contrast to the usual santa barbara stuff most places serve.

Believe it or not, i had the best sea urchin at Sobaya in East village. It believe it was their special of the day and i thought it was the best thing in the World. It just blew me away.
