Cheap and Good Crabmeat?

Where is the freshet jumbo crabmeat and.or other seafood speacilities in NY? That hopefully won't break the bank?

    Trader Joe's sells crabmeat in a tin in their refrigerated section. I haven't tried it myself, but I would trust the freshness and quality given the TJ reputation. It's pretty affordable too. Something like $8 for the a good-sized tin.

      The Associated Supermarket has pretty decent prepackaged crabmeat..
