I am meeting a new employee for lunch in Owings Mills and need a req. for a good expense account lunch. The new employee is currently working as a consultant at BC/BS, so for times sake something close by is needed. Thanks.

Cibo, which is owned by the people who own Aldo's should be okay, and it's pretty close. Never been, but I like Aldo's.

Thanks,

Kevin

I've went to Cibo's a couple of years ago and hated it. An uninventive menu with poor execution, and a clueless staff. Save your money--Unless the place has had a total overhaul.

Does Cibo offer carryout? I need to add to my repertoire of El Paraiso, Que Rico, Vito's Express and Five Guys. I generally get carryout while at work up in Owings Mills, and coworkers don't seem interested in exploring sit down joints.

Thanks!

Can't speak to Cibo, but Mr Chelsea's is pretty good for BBQ (I like the pulled pork best) and they definitely have carryout. It's on Reisterstown Road a little west of Painters Mill.

Thanks for the tip. While I try to avoid Reisterstown Road at all costs during lunch, some good BBQ might be worth the trip.

For an expense account lunch the best would be Linwoods - excellent crabcake but good lunch salads also. Far cheaper but also nice right near BCBS is Artful Gourmet Bistro in New Town.

The Harryman House on Reisterstown Road in Reisterstown is nice place. Located in a historic home, it has charm and good food. If you are not familar with the area, it is about two miles north of Owings Mills.
