We will be in LA this week for a few days staying Hollywood. Need a couple of good fun, inexpensive dinner choices. Have reservations at Norman's for the pig roast

Definetly Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. Going there tomorrow in fact with all my friends, who are all around 19. It's close to the corner of Sunset and Gower in Hollywood. Get the chicken and waffles.

Palms Thai in Hollywood....very interesting choices on the menu (exotic menu too) and a singing Thai Elvis to boot.

Although I'm not the biggest fan of the food itself and it is hot outside...Pinks is probably a good choice given that you'll trip out at the menu and options of hot dogs, you can shop on melrose afterwards....its a place to go just to say you've been there.

Palms Thai, 5900 Hollywood Blvd., (if they'll eat Thai food.) After 8PM (I think)the Filipino Elvis impersonator sings while you dine.

I believe the Elvis impersonator is Thai, hence his monicker "Thai Elvis" and him performing in a Thai restaurant. Besides, I don't know any Filipino person whose name is Kavee Thongpricha (Thai Elvis' real name).

He's a riot, I nearly pee'd my pants the first time I saw him and then when the vietnamese female singer came out after him for an entire hour of Abba songs I was ready to plotz.

Try Carney's on Sunset Blvd for great burgers and dogs. Sit outside if it's not too hot and people watch.

Oh...you might also want to cruise into Canter's for a late night bite. Great place to celeb watch, inevitably we always see at least 2-3 people every time we go.

Palm Thai also serves very good food, and they aren't bashful with the spices and heat if so requested.
