not too sweet gelato
I went to Sketch in Berkeley this weekend and enjoyed the hazelnut praline and the earl grey tea flavors. We chatted with the young owners, who turned out to be ex-pastry chefs who had worked all over San Fran.
However, as I was eating it, I suddenly remembered that Citizen Cake used to sell gelato/sorbetto that were not too sweet (at least the sorbettos I never tried the gelato.
I remember a french butter pear sorbetto that was not too sweet and quite nice. However, i went there so often that I got sick of the place. Has anyone had the gelato/sorbettos at Citizen Cake recently, and how do you think it stacks up to the competition?
