The digest / demise of Chownews
The digest seemed like sort of a good idea...
...But now it's clear that
a) it doesn't seem to cover as much as Chownews did (ie the postings seem to be a bit more sparse on a board by board basis, though I haven't counted them up)
b) there's no weekly emailed Chownews which is , to say the least, mildly frustrating for those who paid for a subscription... when's this coming back?

One more thing...once we start cranking up emails again, we definitely have all subscribers' addresses on hand, so they don't need to do anything to get back on the bandwagon.
One reason why it might take a dab longer than the week Mike's shooting for is that I'm currently prepping for something that's like "What Jim Had For Dinner" on steroids. And it's keeping me from doing much else ambitious right this sec

While we're on the subject of Chownews, how about bringing back, "What Jim Had For Dinner" as a blog. You could make it subscription only, if you wanted. And as a blog, it wouldn't have to be the stone-around-the-neck type of endeavor that the old WJHFD replacement seemed to become for Jim. The name of it escapes me at the moment.
