Delicious Restaurant Recs in the 8th/7th/16th

Hello all!

I'm looking for a good "bib-gourmand" restaurant in either the 8th, 7th or 16th arrondissements. Regular restaurants we stick to in the neighborhood are as follows

Nai (Lebanese)
La Petite Pergolese (French)
Il Carpaccio (Haute-Italian)
L'Entrecote (Beef!)
La Quatre Saisons (simple bistro) --> not in the Four Seasons hotel
Marius (Seafood)
Caius (Seasonal French)
L'Angle (Haute-French) [descendant of Taillevent the restaurant not the person]

These are our cornerstones, if anybody knows of some either local restaurants in the above neighborhoods, I would be honored to be enlightened for this evening's meal and beyond.

Best Regards,
Z

In the 7th Le P'tit Troquet is a wonderful place run by delightful people. With any restaurant you are going to check the AC status. Even if it has AC it will still be hot, so you might want a table on the terrace if they have one. In that case, I would recommend Le Fountaine de Mars near the Eiffel Tower with good food and again lovely owners. I don't know if either is open in August.

Although it is in the 1st it is close to the 8th, so I recommend L'Ardoise near the Place Vendome.

Bon Voyage and Bon Appetit. Let us hear from you when you get back.

I second Le P'tit Troquet. Wonderful food at reasonable prices with charming staff.

My favorite bistro in the 16th is Le Scheffer on Rue de Scheffer close to Trocadero. Its great value, great food, great venue and as close to a genuine non-tourist neighborhood place you can get. Had the best halibut there!

Try Au Bon Accueil in the 7th--well-priced, market-driven menu, good wine list, and you can see the Eiffel Tower as you come and go.

I enjoyed Maupertu in the 7th - good service and it didn't break the bank.
