rye flour?

Anyone know where I can buy rye flour at a retail store? We've looked for it at regular grocery stores and Treasure Island. Tried to check Whole Foods but they weren't answering their phone. My boyfriend and I want to make bauernbrot but can't find this one ingredient.

I know I have seen it at the village market in Skokie -

I am *almost* positive that Whole Foods has rye flour. Check both the bulk food isle and the packaged flour isle, if they aren't together at your location. You might also call another location if your closest whole foods doesn't have it.

I would guess that Fox and Obel also has rye flour.

If you have a Home Economist nearby, I've bought it there before.

Whole Foods has organic rye flour. I buy it there frequently.
