In case you're still in danger of meltdown tonight, you might try one of the Korean bbq places. They usually have excellent ventilation and good aircon. The added advantage is that after one of those dinners, I usually want to wash the smoke and grilled meat aroma off my hair. A shower before bed would be a refreshing end to a hot day and welcome.

Yes. Right after posting I decided to check it out myself, only to find that the weekend closing hour for the pub is 4, not six. Oh well. They are open to 10 pm during the week.

If you've got a gym membership, remember -- they have a big outdoor (as well as indoor) swimming pool! Not bad on hot days or before the wind comes up.

The new pub down at the UCSF Bakkar Community center is air conditioned, I just remembered. Haven't tried the food yet, but the place is air conditioned. Unfortunately they are only open until six or so on Saturday and Sunday. They do have draft beers and a small wine list and the menu looked fairly interesting as well.
