Harry Olivieri, inventor of the Philly cheesesteak passed away today at 90 years of age. http://www.wcbs880.com/pages/59681.php
I heard this on NPR's "All Things Considered" this evening and was delighted to learn his son was still in the restaurant. Cheese steaks are messy but fun!
Assuming that he consumed his share of his own invention, living to 90 is quite a feat! Would that we all could do that...
I believe the inventor of the Twinkie lived to be 89. Diabetes and heart disease be damned.
