I will be driving from Flat Rock, NC to the airport and want to stop and see the BIltmore. I know it will be lunch time so are there any suggestions between there and the airport. No need for long, fancy dining but just good food; barbeque, burgers, blue plate with veggies perhap??????

I'm a little confused by your post. Biltmore is not on the way from Flat Rock to the airport. Biltmore is not really a place you can "stop by".

If you have more time than it sounds like, then I would say go to Sunny Point for breakfast-type food or Salsa for carribbean. But they are not quite between Biltmore and the airport. WNC is not know for BBQ, and you can't get a decent burger in the Carolinas because it's against the law to cook less than medium.

Fig is close to Biltmore, but it falls more in the fancy category. I someone else is able to help more.

Reza's in Biltmore Village. Tapas, very good.

Like Danna I am a bit perplexed by your post as visiting the Biltmore takes at the very least a couple of hours. In any case...there have been mixed opinions on Corner Kitchen in Bilmore Village but it sounds like it would fit the bill.
