Spices II (in SF) Report

Had a great meal at Spices II last night. The Cumin Lamb was incredible, the (fat) Saigon Noodles were perfect, and the Chinese Bacon w/ Pork was chilled and delicious. The Orange Chicken was a bit too thick and sweet for my taste, but it all washed down nicely with a couple of cold beers!

It was my second great meal at Spices II. I’ll be back....

We got take-out from there recently and enjoyed everything we tried: Diced Chicken in Mandarin Sauce; Beef with Broccoli (seems so American, but last time I was there, I saw several Chinese families eating it, and it looked really good); Bok Choy with Garlic; Shanghai Style Noodles. The Shanghai Noodles were almost as good as the ones I remember from Fountain Court - they were just lacking those yummy bits of pork. Spices I & II are my new favorites for Chinese take-out. I can't wait until I can eat spicy food again so that I can fully experience the menu.
