Casual Italian for Lunch on Saturday near the Hancock building...

Any recommendations?? My wife and her best friend are in town for the weekend and would like a nice Italian lunch on Saturday. They aren't particularly adventurous, so a more 'traditional' place would be preferable. Thanks in advance!!

  1. Coco Pazza Cafe -- completely fits the bill -- causal, very good, easy walk from the Hancock.

    Check out the menu:

Cafe Spiaggia at 900 N. Michigan Avenue is fantastic and a hop skip and a jump from the Hancock Building. There's Spiaggia and Cafe Spiaggia in the same building and from the same kitchen. This award winning kitchen and Chef dish out some of the very best contemporary and traditional Italian cuisine in the country. I recommend it over Coco Pazzo Cafe.

    2. That looks great, I'll let you know what she thinks.

      Thanks,
      Chris.

      1. Many good reports also about Quartino:

        Quartino
        626 N. State St.
