Outside I-90 Outside Pittsburgh - quiet place, good food?

We are driving from Madison, WI to Pittsburgh in one day as part of a two day trip. We are looking a nice place to stop OUTSIDE Pittsburgh (off I-90), because we don't want to go into the city (have to get up early and drive again).

Any recommendations for a place to eat near the hwy? We would prefer not to dine in a chain restaurant, nor do we want to spend a lot of money. We're not big meat eaters -- Japanese or Indian would be great.

If such a place exists, please let me know! Thanks in advance!

I meant I-80 since we are coming from Cleveland. Anyone know anything about that?

I fear there is something amiss with your planning. Pittsburgh and I-90 are not aquainted.
