Finding a lobster dinner

I have eaten at Steve's Pier, I think Belport, LI, and had a nice dinner. Someone told me about a restaurant not far from there and said that it was much better. Can anyone help? I need to take my son out for lobster(preferably a 2 lb.) before he goes back to school, just something we do.

Don't waste your time with Alettos- unless you are looking to save money. My son went with his grandparents-it is in the Entertainment book- lobster was small and very dry. We ate there ourselves many years ago and was not impressed. The Fishery in East Rockaway was serving some attractive looking lobsters the other week when we were there- but we didn't order them.

Don't go to Steve's Pier 1 in Bayville. Ugh.
Head literally straight down to the south shore community
of Island Park and Jordan's Lobster Dock.
On the water.

We go to Aletto's, on East Montauk Highway,Lindenhurst. If you go within certain hours and pay cash, the price is lower...call them and find out the rules, and what size lobsters they have in.

Yes, I meant Bayville. Someone at work told me that pretty much across the street was a great place for lobster, but I don't remember the name and I am finished with work until the Fall.
