was running a special last night...burger or clam roll w/ 16 oz beer..$10. I saw a delivery from Captain Marden's of big steamer clams.

I had prior plans but if this is an ongoing thing, it's a great deal.

Stopped by last night and had a new menu item - blackened halibut sandwich on brioche with all kinds of spicy items including jalapenos. The fish was cooked perfectly and the blackening spices were great. I think the steak tips and beer special was still on but not sure

They were running a similar special on a burger and steak tips and a beer for $10 last week as well. So perhaps it is an ongoing thing.

9lives; Pete's isn't closing. It was recently sold to The Sommers Group (Green Dragon, Hennesey's, etc.). Other than the beer prices going up a quarter, it's the same. Although if and when the Greenway ever gets completed, I expect them to go upscale in a hurry.

I like the North Street Grille. But you can get a good burger and a beer at Pete's Pub (the burger is cooked next door at the Green Dragon; same owner) for $8.00.

Of course, you'll have to endure Pete's.:)

Better hurry. I read somewhere (maybe here) that Pete's is slated to close soon..:(
