Going there tomorrow to hear some jazz....any recs for a non-meat eater (fish ok)? General opinions? Trying to decide whether to eat first or once I get there....

thanks!

We use it frequently taking out guest speakers. The food is good but won't wow you. I usually stick with simple: duck breast, steak frites, grilled fish. The wines are well priced and usually find something new there. They wait staff is pretty good at wine pairings. Overall, it's comfortable and good value.

I really like this restaurant, not because I think the food is mind-blowing, but rather for all the great memories I've had dining here with friends. The food is quite good - it's not terribly fancy, but it's pleasant and comforting. While the menu's changed a bit from when I was there in May, I always enjoy the salad with warm goat cheese. I wish I could recommend more, but I've always tended to order meat dishes when there. However, I've eaten there with fish-eating (and non-fish-eating) vegetarians and they've always found food they've liked on the menu.

For dessert, their creme brulee is nice.
