Recommend a beer store in Culver City [moved from Beer board]

What about Bevmo? They have a very nice selection of bottled beers. And you can also check them out online:

  1. Unfortunately Bevmo does not have a location anywhere near us in Culver City.

What about West Hollywood (7100 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90046)? According to Bevmo's website, this store is only 6 miles from Culver City.

6 miles and a 1/2 hour drive. Welcome to LA.

I think that their beer section is worth a 1/2 hour drive.

I agree their beer selection was great and worth it for a party (I've actually done that) but unreasonable for a casual on my way home from work pick-up. :) Morry's spoiled me! :)

      2. try off of culver near marina del rey. bevmo generally has better prices and a friendlier atmosphere, but the selection here is comparable.

Thanks so much guys!! I completely forgot about this place!! :)

        2. Agreed on Beverage Warehouse. And you can also swing by LA Wine Company which is in the same complex I think is one of the best wine stores in the city.

Actually, I perfer the selection at Wine Country in Signal Hill... *more sigh*. But they do have a good booze selection (it's where I get my Modern Spirits! Thanks for giving them the plug! :)

          2. And the Wine House on Cotner north of Pico(at n/bd 405 fwy on-ramp) has a decent selection of beers from all kinds of exotic locales.
Never get Bevmo - or at least the Van Nuys version - the employees seem to know nothing, and want to tell you even less!
