Where to buy duck eggs?!

lovelyoori Jul 19, 2006 11:01 PM

I've been looking for fresh duck eggs and I can't seem to find any. I am NOT looking for ballut (duck eggs with the babies inside :< ). Does anybody know of any places uptown?

Augusta Egg Market at 251 Augusta does turkey and quail eggs, so maybe they know whether/where duck eggs are available; give them a call at 416-593-9817.

I haven't purchased for a few years but St. Patrick Poultry (that may not be the exact name but it does start with St. Patrick) on, yes, St. Patrick between Spadina and Kensington, used to sell fresh duck eggs. In fact I would expect to find them in most Chinatown food stores, esp. the supermarkets. Same goes for any of the GTA Chinatowns.

I've bought duck eggs at the Healthy Butcher on Eglinton.
