Our experience in Juneau is limited to pizza and alcohol. We used to like Pizza Verona, just up the street from the Red Dog. Thick crust style, nicely charred edges. Generous toppings and good sauce. The crust has been a little doughy at times. Our new favorite is Pizzeria Roma, in the Wharf Building (the blue one at the end of the quay). Thin crust style. We usually get a 15 inch New Roma Combination (pepperoni, sausage, bell pepper, mushrooms and red onion) - the last price was $20. Very good and with a nice char to the crust. They have a wide selection of veggie pies. And exotics like wild salmon and Jamacan bacon. Also good looking salads and lasagna. Enjoy the salmon at the lodge!
