I'm hosting a group of chinese food-loving chowhounds for lunch this week. Anyone know of a good, authentic Sichuan place in Manhattan below Houston? Many thanks!

I believe that's the only one, but I also think it's not currently related to the other Grand Sichuans. Any reason for the location restriction?

Yes ... I work for a law firm; the lunch is for entertaining interns and we have a geographical limit so people don't wander off for the whole afternoon. I'll give this a shot. Thanks!

Grand Sichuan St. Marks is too far north?

In that case, is it possible for you to choose another regional Chinese cuisine?

I know I know--Chinatown isn't the best for Sichuan food. But that's what the kiddies want so that's what they'll get!

How about Grand Sichuan International in Chinatown on Canal between Bowery and Christy? I'm not sure I got the streets right...it's near the temple (yellow) where the Fun Wah buses run.
