OC: Best place to purchase kielbasa?

Hello friends,

Tell me where you would go in OC if you wanted to purchase one of Poland's special gifts to the world, i.e. KIELBASA.

The other night, after an instant hankerin' for the stuff, I placed a package of Farmer John's kielbasa in my Vons shopping cart. My only regret is one of you wasn't there to smack me in the head. It was absolutely awful...salt composition was about 1000%, and 'twas predictably 'processed-food' bland. No amount of onions, relish, etc. could salvage it.

This bein' grilling season, surely I'm not the only one who would like to be enlightened. Any Polish/Slavic delis or butchers to recommend...or even just good Orange County sausage purveyors? Thanks!

Here's my go to store for Polish sausages. They sell a range of styles, but I always take home the double smoked kielbasa and some skinny kabanozy (sp?) to snack on like Slim Jim's.

I've never heard of this place! How does it compare to the polish sausage from the place in Santa Monica? (J&T?)

Never been to J&T, FwF. Polka is smallish, and they purchase their smoked meats from a source in L.A. But the quality is good, and it's the closest Polish owned store to me.

Do you have Jon's Markets in OC? Sometimes Jon's has great kielbasa from Gaiser's European Style Provisions in Union, NJ.
