random craving for spinach/artichoke dip...

PseudoNerd Jul 15, 2006 07:20 PM

...you know, the warm kind that was put under the broiler and has a crispy cheese crust that gives way to a melted, cheesy (ricotta, I believe) and (fresh) veggie interior and is served with chips and crudite?

I can't remember the last time I had it. Perhaps it's not something served at most restaurants in LA?

I have found it in several joints all over Los Angeles, it almost seems a staple even.

Houston's has one of my favorites.

Believe it or not, CPK has an amazing one!

Agree with Micako & cupcake! These places both have awesome spinach/artichoke dips!

I tried the one from Costco last weekend. YUM! had with those new fangled flat pretzel crisp things. Nearly ate the whole dish! :)

If you like seafood, you may enjoy the dip at the Lobster in Santa Monica. It's the usual spinach/artichoke number but loaded with crab. That's a favorite, with a window seat and a glass of wine...
