2941 Restaurant

I finally had lunch at 2941. The view is fabulous, even when it is raining, and the ambiance is relaxing, open and comfortable. I have to agree with someone, somwhere in Chowhounds that Eves out classes 2941 in their food. The portions are similarly small and expensive but Eve's presents better food taste combinations.

I find the saucing at 2941 to be too heavy-handed and sweet, though the breads are great. In my opinion, Eve and CityZen are far better choices.

I had lunch there recently and the food was very good, my steak was one of the best I've had, very tender and flavorful, and the views there are spectacular for an suburban site. My colleague, tho, was given a salad dressing with fish even though she warned the server she was allergic. She is fine, now, but it kind of put a damper on our enjoyment of an otherwise outstanding meal.
