Meat Pies, Sausage Rolls & VB

Are DUB, Tuckshop and Myers pretty much the only places in NY to get a half decent meat pie or sausage roll (Aussie style). I'm not a carnivore but my husband is missing these.

Also - is it true that you really can't get VB in the city ?

You can also get meat pies and sausage rolls from Essex Market. And yes, apparently VB is not available here due to a preservative that's in the beer. But you can get it from the Aust consulate on special occasions...well that's what I've heard anyway. At least you can get Coopers here!

Well, I readily admit I have no idea what you are referring to, but logically you might want to try all the Australian restaurants in town: Eight Mile Creek (they have meat pies), Bondi Road, Sunburnt Cow.
