Meat Pies, Sausage Rolls & VB

Are DUB, Tuckshop and Myers pretty much the only places in NY to get a half decent meat pie or sausage roll (Aussie style). I'm not a carnivore but my husband is missing these.

Also - is it true that you really can't get VB in the city ?

  1. Well, I readily admit I have no idea what you are referring to, but logically you might want to try all the Australian restaurants in town: Eight Mile Creek (they have meat pies), Bondi Road, Sunburnt Cow.

    1. You can also get meat pies and sausage rolls from Essex Market. And yes, apparently VB is not available here due to a preservative that's in the beer. But you can get it from the Aust consulate on special occasions...well that's what I've heard anyway. At least you can get Coopers here!

      1. where in essex market are the meat pies/sausage rolls sold?
