Westchester Oysters

A good friend and I are seeking a good oyster spot in Westchester. A decent bar (oysters with Talisker single malt scotch are sublime) would be a big plus. Though excellent, I'd like to forego the NYC staples (Aquagrill, Blue Ribbon, Shaffer's) this one time.

Your insights would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I hear Ocean House in Croton is the spot. Have yet to try it though. BYOB

I know I keep singing their praises, but MacMenamin's Grill has some of the best Malpec oysters I've ever had. And they make a very good martini to go with them!

Not sure where in Westchsetser you are, but if you wouldnt mind a short drive, The Elm Street Oyster House in Greenwich, CT have a very good selection of fresh oysters. Some of the best Ive had not in NYC.
