Westchester Oysters

  • 5

A good friend and I are seeking a good oyster spot in Westchester. A decent bar (oysters with Talisker single malt scotch are sublime) would be a big plus. Though excellent, I'd like to forego the NYC staples (Aquagrill, Blue Ribbon, Shaffer's) this one time.

Your insights would be much appreciated. Thanks!

  1. Not sure where in Westchsetser you are, but if you wouldnt mind a short drive, The Elm Street Oyster House in Greenwich, CT have a very good selection of fresh oysters. Some of the best Ive had not in NYC.

    1. I know I keep singing their praises, but MacMenamin's Grill has some of the best Malpec oysters I've ever had. And they make a very good martini to go with them!

      1. Harry's of Hartsdale Steakhouse & Oyster Bar on Hartsdale Ave. in Hartsdale.

Ruby's Oyster Bar & Bistro on Purchase Street in Rye.
